we made it
I'm at an internet cafe and I had a long blog typed and my time was up and I lost it all. Just letting you guys know that I made it. The 10 hours in flight wasn't as bad as the 24 hours I rode in a bus to NYC with 41 middle school kids. We are staying at Moscow State Pedigological University ( which is the teacher's college) My roomate and I have a small apartment. Carla has already locked herself in the bathroom and it took all of us working to get her out. Dr. Brooks says things are always broken here. I've already named Dr. Brooks dad, We love it because he gave us $500 in spending money and then leads us where we are to go and buys our tickets. We rode the metro about 20 minutes into Red Square where the Krelim and St. Basil's Cathderal is. Peter the Great had St. Basil's built to honor his victory in a huge battle. He thought it was so beautiful that he had the architect's eye's poked out so that he could never build anything else to top it. We are having a great time. 10 women and 3 men. We have been up for about 2 days straight so I'm going back to the room and crash. I love being somewhere where everything is different.

Poking his eyes out is pretty harsh. Imagine someone today telling her builder, "This house is so beautiful. I am going to have to poke out your eyes now."
